Obverse description Central motif of a stylized spread-winged vulture with head facing left, rendered in the ancient Egyptian artistic tradition, occupying the lower half of the field. Above the vulture, the Arabic legend جمهورية مصر العربية (Arab Republic of Egypt) appears in two lines, surmounted by a lotus flower finial. The denomination is indicated in both Western Arabic numerals (5) and Eastern Arabic numerals (٥) flanking the central legend, with the currency abbreviations LE and A·R·E also present in the field. The dual dates 1993 / 1414 appear along the lower border in both Latin and Arabic-Indic numerals, with a mint mark (CC) at the bottom of the field.
