Reverse description Central device consists of the emblem of the National Planning Institute of Egypt, depicted as a shield bearing a radiant sunburst with stylised rays above a grid-patterned lower section, surmounted by the institute's Arabic name in a header panel and anchored at the base by a cogwheel. The foundation year 1960 appears in Arabic-Indic numerals to the upper right of the shield, and the commemorative year 1985 to the upper left. Below the shield, the Arabic legend reading 'Silver Jubilee' is inscribed in two words across the lower field. The design is surrounded by the same dentilated inner border as the obverse.
