Obverse description Within a raised circular border at center, the numeral '5' appears prominently at the top, followed below by the Arabic word 'جنيهات' (Pounds) and the dual dates '1991-1411' in Arabic numerals, all contained within an incuse circle. Surrounding the central circle in the lower field, a bold and flowing calligraphic Arabic legend reads 'جمهورية مصر العربية' (Arab Republic of Egypt), rendered in an ornate script that sweeps across the lower half of the coin. The entire design is framed by a distinctive decorative denticled border running along the rim.
