| 背面描述 | Central field displays a honeycomb arrangement of six hexagonal panels surrounding a central hexagon bearing Arabic calligraphic inscription. The surrounding panels each depict a symbol of cooperative endeavor: an ear of wheat and a torch (agriculture), a family group of three figures (social welfare), interlocking rings (unity or cooperation symbol), a multi-story residential building (housing), livestock animals (animal husbandry), and industrial or commercial goods (trade and industry). A small anchor or figure appears at the base below the honeycomb cluster. The overall composition is enclosed within a reeded border, presenting a comprehensive allegorical tableau of cooperative society. |

Issued to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Arab Economic Unity Council, a body established in 1957 under the Arab League to coordinate economic policy among member states — an ambition that repeatedly foundered on political rivalries, particularly following Egypt's expulsion from the Arab League after the Camp David Accords in 1979. Egypt had only just been readmitted in 1983, making this issue's cooperative theme pointed timing rather than coincidence.
