Reverse description Central device depicts two vultures (neophrons) in dynamic flight, rendered in a stylized manner directly adapted from ancient Egyptian hieroglyphic and funerary art, with detailed feather engraving on their outstretched wings; the birds are arranged one above the other, facing opposite directions, their bodies crossing diagonally across the field. The Arabic legend curves along the upper left portion of the field, while the Latin legend CAIRO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT runs along the lower right periphery. The design is enclosed within the same decorative segmented border as the obverse.
