Aanvullende informatie

This issue belongs to Egypt's series of silver commemoratives produced through the 1990s documenting ancient artifacts and iconography from the pharaonic period. The archer-in-chariot motif draws directly from the military imagery associated with New Kingdom warfare, particularly the chariot tactics that defined Egyptian campaigns against the Hittites at Kadesh in 1274 BC — a battle Ramesses II subsequently celebrated in temple reliefs across Luxor, Abu Simbel, and the Ramesseum.

KM#784 was struck at the Egyptian Mint in Abbasia, Cairo.
