| Reverse description | Central device depicts the Egyptian Radio and Television Union building in Cairo, rendered as a multi-storey tower surmounted by a broadcasting antenna with a circular transmission symbol at its apex. The building rises from a low horizontal plinth. To the left and right of the tower, the commemorative dates ١٩٣٤ and ١٩٨٤ appear in Eastern Arabic numerals, marking the fiftieth anniversary of Egyptian radio broadcasting. The entire central composition is enclosed within an ornate arabesque border of interlaced floral and foliate motifs, with a small mint mark visible in the lower exergue. |
