| 备注 |
Weida is a small town in the Greiz district of Thuringia, and this note is a product of the Kleingeldersatz crisis of 1921, when coin metal shortages and postwar economic dislocation pushed hundreds of German municipalities into printing their own fractional emergency currency. The Johannes Arndt Druckerei in Jena supplied a number of these small-town Notgeld issues across Thuringia, working to tight cost constraints — which makes the presence of a watermark here worth noting. Most municipal issues at this denomination dispensed with security features entirely.
