| Reverse description | A large Greek epsilon (E), the numeral denoting the denomination of 5 nummi, occupies the central field of the reverse. An officina letter Delta (Δ) appears to the right of the epsilon, indicating the fourth workshop of the Constantinople mint. The design is characteristically sparse, with no additional field marks, exergual inscription, or mintmark, consistent with the standard small-module pentanummium coinage of the Constantinople mint under Maurice Tiberius. |
