Reverse description Central field depicts a coiled Chinese imperial dragon in low relief, facing left with head raised, rendered in the provincial Xinjiang style with scaled body and flaming pearl at centre bearing a six-pointed star. Above the dragon, the Hijri date ١٣٢٩ (1329) is inscribed in Arabic numerals flanked by six-pointed stars, with Chinese characters for the mint name 喀什造 at upper right. Below and around the dragon, the Arabic legend كاشغر ٥ مثقال (Kashgar, 5 Mithqal) is inscribed, with additional six-pointed stars flanking the field. The entire design is enclosed within a beaded inner circle and a plain raised outer rim.
