| Obverse description | Left-facing draped bust of King Gustaf V occupies the central field, with the engraver's monogram EL positioned above the portrait. At the base of the neck truncation, the Stockholm mint mark appears to the left and the mint director's initial G appears to the right. The royal name and title form the primary legend encircling the bust, accompanied by the royal motto. The effigy is rendered in high relief in a classical portrait style characteristic of Erik Lindberg's medallic work. |
