To the left of the portrait, superimposed over a stylized geographic map, a conventionalized representation of the Struve Arc meridian line is depicted, with the inscription ФУГЛЕНЕС 2822 км (Fuglenes, 2,822 km) appearing above and СТАРА НЕКРАСІВКА (Stara Nekrasivka) below, marking the northern and southern terminal points of the arc respectively.
