The central field features a detailed relief depicting a fragment of Baroque decorative embossment characteristic of the church's interior ornamentation. The denomination and year of issue, 5 ГРИВЕНЬ 2011, appear in the lower central field, with the mint logo of the National Bank of Ukraine Banknote Printing and Minting Works situated at the very bottom. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | The reverse presents a highly detailed frontal view of St. Andrew's Church in Kyiv, a masterpiece of Ukrainian Baroque architecture designed by Bartolomeo Rastrelli and constructed in the 18th century. The church is rendered with exceptional precision, showcasing its five gilded onion domes crowned with crosses, the ornate Baroque facade with pilasters, arched windows, and elaborate decorative cartouches. The Cyrillic legend АНДРІЇВСЬКА ЦЕРКВА arcs along the upper left field, while КИЇВ appears at the lower right and the dating XVIII ст. (18th century) is inscribed along the right edge of the field. |
