| Obverse description | The obverse features a central rectangular panel depicting a female hand adorned with a decorative bracelet, delicately holding a fine paintbrush as if engaged in the act of Petrykivka decorative painting. Below the hand, an ornate composition of stylized flowers and a bird rendered in the characteristic Petrykivka folk-art style fills the lower portion of the panel. The small shield-shaped Ukrainian trident (tryzub) state emblem appears in the upper left field. The Cyrillic legend УКРАЇНА is inscribed vertically along the left margin, the date 2016 appears at the lower left, and the denomination 5 ГРИВЕНЬ is inscribed vertically along the right margin. |
