| Obverse description | The obverse features a dynamic composition of crossed medieval weapons — including swords, spears, and banners — arranged across the central field, evoking the martial character of the Battle of Orsha. Two heraldic bird heads, one wearing a crown, appear among the battle standards in the upper right, while an oak laurel wreath occupies the lower centre of the field. The small Ukrainian trident state emblem (tryzub) appears at the upper centre, flanked by the Cyrillic legend УКРАЇНА and the date 2014 beneath it. The denomination П'ЯТЬ ГРИВЕНЬ is inscribed in a curved legend across the upper field below the tryzub. |
