| Beschrijving keerzijde | The reverse features a stylized commemorative composition depicting Pyotr Nesterov executing his celebrated loop maneuver in a Nieuport monoplane, rendered in a conventionalized artistic manner evoking early aviation imagery. The aircraft is shown in mid-loop against an open field, capturing the historic 1913 aerobatic feat performed above Kyiv. Along the lower portion of the field, a crowd of spectators is depicted in a style reminiscent of contemporary 1913 Kyiv postcards. The inscriptions ПЕТЛЯ НЕСТЕРОВА (Nesterov's Loop), the year 1913 рік, and the city name КИЇВ appear within the design. |

Pyotr Nesterov performed the first aerial loop in history on September 9, 1913, above Syrets aerodrome near Kyiv — making the centennial commemoration both geographically and historically apt for a Ukrainian issue. He flew an unarmed Nieuport IV, cut the engine at the apex, and landed without incident, though his commanding officer immediately placed him under arrest for endangering military property.
Nesterov was killed the following year in the opening weeks of World War I, ramming an Austrian reconnaissance aircraft over Galicia — the first aerial ramming in wartime history.
