| 背面描述 | Central motif presents a facing bust of Ivan Fedorov, the pioneering East Slavic printer, rendered in fine sculptural relief with a traditional cap, long beard, and simple robes, occupying the lower-central field. The name ІВАН ФЕДОРОВ arches in bold Cyrillic lettering across the upper field. To the left of the bust appear two decorative printer's marks or typographic monograms associated with Fedorov, rendered in intricate detail. The birth and death years 1510 and 1583 are inscribed in two lines to the lower right of the portrait against the mirror proof field. |

Ivan Fedorov — known in Ukrainian as Ivan Fedorovych — established the first printing press in Moscow in 1563 before fleeing to the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth under accusations of heresy, eventually setting up operations in Lviv, where he produced the first printed book on Ukrainian territory in 1574. This coin was issued as part of Ukraine's ongoing commemorative program celebrating figures tied to Ukrainian cultural and intellectual heritage, a category the National Bank has used extensively since the mid-1990s to assert a distinct national identity separate from the Soviet historiography that had long claimed Fedorov as purely Russian.
