Reverse description A central rectangular frame with a beaded border contains a four-line patriotic inscription. The Swiss federal coat of arms — a white cross on a red shield — appears at the upper left within the frame. The denomination 5 FR and the mint mark B are incorporated within the inscribed panel. Flanking the frame on either side are branches of oak with acorns, and a military helmet surmounts the frame at the top, reinforcing the theme of armed national defense. The date 1936 appears at the top of the central inscription.
