| Reverse description | The reverse displays a prominent dotted rectangular frame enclosing the four-line Latin motto PRO PATRIA ARMIS TUENDA, with a Swiss cross in the upper-left corner of the frame. A military steel helmet is depicted centrally above the frame at the top of the field, flanked on either side by a sprig of oak leaves. The date 1936 is inscribed in two separated groups of numerals (19 and 36) flanking the helmet. The denomination 5 FR is boldly inscribed below the frame, with the Bern mint mark B visible at the very bottom of the field. |
