Obverse description The elaborate municipal coat of arms of the city of Seville occupies the central field, rendered in fine relief with detailed architectural and heraldic elements. The shield depicts the iconic figures of Saints Justa and Rufina flanking the Giralda tower, encircled by a Latin legend from the city's historic seal. Above the arms, a decorative crest with foliate elements is visible, while the mint mark of the Royal Mint of Madrid (M crowned) appears at the lower right. The legends ESPAÑA and SEVILLA are inscribed vertically on either side of the arms, with the date 2012 positioned at the top of the field. A beaded border frames the entire design.
