Reverse description A highly detailed frontal view of the Puerta de Palmas, the historic Renaissance city gate of Badajoz, occupies the central field. The gate is depicted with its two characteristic cylindrical fortified towers flanking a decorative central archway adorned with ornamental stonework. A beaded border encircles the entire design. The denomination '5 EURO' is inscribed in the upper portion of the field, while the legend 'PUERTA DE PALMAS' appears in the lower exergue.
