| Obverse description | The obverse presents a striking modernist sculptural composition depicting a procession of stylized warrior figures rendered in high relief, receding in perspective from the foreground to the upper right of the field, evoking a marching formation of Latvian freedom fighters. The figures are abstracted and angular in form, conveying both strength and forward motion.
