Liberia's 1990s commemorative program was one of the most prolific — and commercially cynical — in modern numismatic history. The country issued hundreds of collector-targeted pieces through foreign contract mints during this period, most with no domestic circulation and no meaningful connection to Liberian monetary history. KM#600 is a product of that machine.
