| 裏面の説明 | The reverse depicts a stylized archaeological scene inspired by Celtic art from the Stare Hradisko oppidum, a significant Iron Age settlement in Moravia associated with the Amber Route. The design features schematic human and animal figures rendered in an archaic, engraved style reminiscent of ancient artefacts. A genuine amber gemstone is set into the lower central field of the reverse, serving as both a decorative and thematic element referencing the amber trade. The legend STARE HRADISKO arcs along the lower rim in incuse Latin lettering. The overall composition conveys the archaeological and cultural heritage of the site through abstracted, period-inspired imagery. |

Stare Hradisko was a major Celtic oppidum in Moravia, occupied roughly from the 2nd century BC through the 1st century AD, and one of the most significant archaeological sites along the ancient amber trade routes connecting the Baltic coast to the Mediterranean. Excavations there uncovered substantial quantities of raw and worked amber alongside imported Roman goods, confirming its role as a commercial node rather than merely a transit point. Niue issued this coin as part of a broader amber route series produced by the Czech Mint on behalf of the island territory.
