| Beschrijving keerzijde | The reverse features a central circular colorized insert depicting a Mountain Boomer (Eastern collared lizard, Crotaphytus collaris), Oklahoma's state reptile, rendered in vivid full-color photography showing its characteristic green and yellow banded body as it rests on a rocky surface. A blue banner above the lizard bears the legend OKLAHOMA in white lettering, and a blue banner below reads MOUNTAIN BOOMER; a small American flag appears at the upper right of the central medallion. The arc legend AMERICAN STATE ANIMALS frames the upper periphery of the inner disk, while the outer field carries a matte-relief rocky desert landscape motif consistent throughout the series. |

| Aanvullende informatie |
The mountain boomer — more properly the collared lizard, Crotaphytus collaris — earned its folk name from the booming calls males produce during breeding season, though it is native to the American Southwest and has no geographic connection to the Cook Islands whatsoever. Cook Islands has operated one of the most prolific third-party bullion and commemorative programs in the Pacific since the 1970s, issuing coins under license for foreign distributors with no expectation of domestic circulation. This piece is a product of that arrangement.
