| Reverse description | The reverse, designed by artist Jori van der Linde, presents a colourful zodiac-themed composition dedicated to Leo (July 23–August 22). An outer ring of engraved Roman numerals replicates the dial of a classic timepiece, while an inner ring of applied Swarovski® crystals encircles a vividly coloured central motif depicting the Leo constellation and its associated astrological symbol. The artist's initials JV appear within the design. The coin showcases selective colour application against a polished silver field, lending the piece a jewellery-like aesthetic characteristic of the Royal Canadian Mint's Signs of the Zodiac series. |
