Aanvullende informatie

Australia's Sydney 2000 Olympic series was among the most ambitious commemorative programs the Royal Australian Mint had undertaken, spanning multiple years and dozens of individual releases. The pad-printing technique used on select pieces in this series — applying color directly onto the coin's surface through a silicone transfer process — was still a relative novelty in Australian mint production at the turn of the millennium, and quality consistency across the run was not always uniform.
