Reverse description The reverse is printed in green and presents a wide intaglio vignette of the Central Bank building (formerly the Treasury Building), a modernist multi-storey structure with a flag flying above, occupying the central field. An oval vignette in the upper right corner shows a mechanical crane lifting harvested sugar cane in a field, referencing the agricultural economy of Trinidad and Tobago. Denomination counters '$5' appear in the lower corners, and the border is composed of fine guilloche lacework.
