| Reverse description | The reverse presents a highly detailed, partially colorized depiction of the Dresden Frauenkirche (Church of Our Lady), rendered in a combination of raised relief and applied color printing. The iconic Baroque sandstone dome and lantern tower dominate the upper centre of the design, shown in silver relief, while the flanking sections of the church facade and corner towers are rendered with realistic color highlighting the warm ochre tones of the original stonework. The legend DRESDEN FRAUENKIRCHE curves along the upper rim in large raised lettering, and a small globe device inscribed WORLD OF WONDERS appears to the left of the composition. The date 2013 is inscribed in the lower exergue. |
