| Obverse description | The obverse features a central uncolored cameo insert bearing the Public Seal of Niue, crowned and surrounded by a wreath, with the legend PUBLIC SEAL OF NIUE arching above and the motto ATUA NIUE TUKULAGI on a scroll below, flanked by crossed ceremonial paddles.
