| Obverse description | The obverse features an elaborate baroque-style heraldic composition centered on a large ornate shield bearing the Public Seal of Niue, surmounted by a royal crown flanked by voluminous acanthus scrollwork in high relief. Within the shield, the circular seal depicts the national emblem with the legend PUBLIC SEAL OF NIUE above and the motto ATUA NIUE TUKULAGI below, accompanied by crossed paddles at the base and the series number 7 beneath the shield. The mintmark TS appears on a cartouche integrated into the scrollwork directly below the crown, with the date 2025 inscribed on a banner immediately above. Flanking the central shield on scroll-form banderoles are the inscriptions AG 999 to the left and 2 OZ. to the right, while the curved legend ALADDIN & THE WONDERFUL LAMP arcs along the upper rim and 5 DOLLARS is displayed prominently across the lower field in bold relief lettering. |
