| Obverse description | Central field features the coat of arms of the Republic of Palau, depicting Neptune seated with a trident alongside a mermaid, enclosed within a shield-shaped escutcheon adorned with floral wreath border. A traditional Palauan outrigger canoe appears above the shield. Eight five-pointed stars flank the design in the surrounding field. The legend REPUBLIC OF PALAU arcs along the upper rim, the series title RAINBOW'S END appears in the lower portion of the shield, and the denomination 5$ is inscribed at the bottom of the coin. |
