Obverse description Right-facing effigy of Queen Juliana occupying the central field, modeled by engraver L.O. Wenckebach. The queen is depicted with an elaborately styled coiffure adorned with a decorative hair ornament of starburst and geometric form, and a small pendant earring is visible. The truncation of the bust is plain. The circular legend JULIANA KONINGIN DER NEDERLANDEN runs along the full periphery, beginning at the lower left and terminating at the lower right, with a small dot serving as a stop at the base.
