| Beschrijving voorzijde | Armored half-length effigy of King Christian V facing right, depicted in elaborate full plate armor with a sash bearing the pendant of the Order of the Elephant. The portrait is distinguished by a prominent bow tie at the neck and a large, ornately curled periwig — features exclusive to this denomination and its related 2 Mark type. The obverse legend in Latin encircles the bust within the field. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | The large crowned coat of arms of Denmark and its constituent territories occupies the central field, encircled by the badge and pendant of the Order of the Elephant suspended from a delicate ribbon. The regnal date 1690 is divided across the upper field on either side of the arms, while the denomination mark '4 M' appears divided in the lower field flanking the arms. The mintmaster's initials 'C W' appear at the base, divided by the elephant badge. The royal motto 'PIETATE ET IUSTITIA' is inscribed around the rim, divided on both sides of the composition. |
