| Obverse description | Central field features a finely engraved classical Greek temple set against a radiating sunburst, situated upon rocky terrain and surrounded by billowing clouds rendered in high relief. Flanking the central vignette is a large, detailed laurel wreath whose branches extend across the field, framing the entire composition. The date 2022 appears at the top of the inner circle, while the purity designation Ag 999 is inscribed at the bottom of the inner circle below the wreath. The outer legend reads REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN along the upper arc, with 3000 FRANCS CFA and 3 OZ distributed along the lower and lateral portions of the border. The entire design is bordered by a Greek meander (key) pattern running along the outermost rim. |
