| 正面描述 | Against a mirror-polished field, the State Coat of Arms of the Russian Federation is rendered in relief at centre. A semicircular legend 'РОССИЙСКАЯ ФЕДЕРАЦИЯ' arcs along the upper rim, flanked on each side by paired rhombuses. Below the arms, the fineness designation 'Ag 925' appears to the left and the fine metal weight with the Saint Petersburg Mint monogram 'СПМД' to the right. Along the lower rim, a three-line central inscription reads 'БАНК РОССИИ', the denomination '3 РУБЛЯ', and the year of issue '2020 г.' |

The Tula Kremlin is one of the few surviving brick kremlin fortresses in Russia, completed in 1520 under Vasily III as a southern defensive anchor against Tatar incursions from the steppe. It held against a major siege by Khan Devlet I Giray in 1552 — a failure that preceded the Khan's far more devastating raid on Moscow in 1571, when he actually burned the city. The Tula fortification's survival in that earlier engagement bought time that shaped the subsequent campaign season entirely.
