| Obverse description | Plain typeset design within a simple rectangular border. The large Cyrillic numeral «3» occupies the centre as the principal vignette, with the denomination ТРИ РУБЛЯ printed in bold block letters across the middle. The issuer's name БОНЫ СОЧИНСКОГО ГОРОДСК. УПРАВЛЕНИЯ appears in the upper left, the serial number is placed in the upper right, and the year 1919 is printed at the foot; three manuscript signatures of city officials — Городск. Голова, Члены Управы, and Кассир — are inscribed across the lower portion. |

| Reverse description | Plain typeset text layout within a single-line rectangular frame. The denomination ТРИ РУБЛЯ is set in large bold capitals at the top, below which two numbered clauses in pre-reform Russian orthography state the mandatory acceptance of the bonds on a par with credit notes until 30 September 1920 (clause I) and prescribe penalties for counterfeiting equivalent to those for forging state credit notes (clause II). A faint circular underprint watermark device is visible at centre. |
