| Obverse description | At the centre of the obverse, the State Emblem of the Russian Federation — a double-headed eagle crowned with three imperial crowns, holding an orb and sceptre — is rendered in high relief against a mirror-polished field. The curved legend РОССИЙСКАЯ ФЕДЕРАЦИЯ (Russian Federation) arcs along the upper periphery in Cyrillic. Below the eagle, the inscriptions БАНК РОССИИ (Bank of Russia), 3 РУБЛЯ (3 Roubles), and 2021 г. appear in three lines. The fineness mark Ag 925 and the troy weight indicator 31,1 are inscribed in the lower left and lower right fields respectively, flanking the eagle, with the Saint Petersburg Mint (СПМД) monogram visible beneath the weight figure. Two small square ornamental devices are positioned at the mid-left and mid-right of the field. |
