| Reverse description | Central design features the arms of the City of Riga — a crowned shield bearing two crossed keys above a horizontal bar, enclosed within a beaded inner circle and flanked by elaborate foliate and floral ornaments. The two-digit date numerals (e.g. 47 for 1647) appear at the top of the field, divided by the central motif, with the denomination numeral 24 inscribed within the lower portion of the inner circle and the numeral 3 placed at the bottom of the field indicating the 3 Polker value. The surrounding Latin legend MON : NOVA - CIVI : RIGE identifies this as the new coinage of the city of Riga. |
