Reverse description A crowned Imperial double-headed eagle displayed, with wings spread and detailed plumage, occupies the central field. On the breast of the eagle is an oval escutcheon bearing the numeral '3', denoting the denomination. Below the eagle's tail the mintmaster initials 'C·A·' appear flanking the mint mark. The surrounding circular legend reads VIRTUTE ET EXEMPLO with the date of issue, all enclosed within a dentillated border. The engraving is characteristic of the Viennese imperial workshop, with fine detail in the feathers and crown.
