Djibouti's Central Bank has issued a succession of silver wildlife pieces clearly aimed at the collector market rather than circulation — the springbok has no particular connection to Djibouti, a country whose native fauna runs to dromedaries and frankly hostile littoral species. These are bullion-adjacent issues produced for export revenue.
