Reverse description Central device depicts the Imperial Qajar emblem of a lion passant regardant before a rising sun, rendered in fine relief. The lion and sun device is encircled by a decorative wreath of branches divided at the top by a royal crown, forming a closed cartouche. The AH date appears in the lower portion of the field below the central device. The composition reflects the formal heraldic style adopted during the reign of Naser ad-Din Shah.
