| Obverse description | The obverse features the State Emblem of the Russian Federation — a double-headed eagle displayed, with three crowns above, a sceptre in the right talon and an orb in the left, and the coat of arms of Moscow on a shield at the centre breast — rendered in relief at the centre of the field. The legend РОССИЙСКАЯ ФЕДЕРАЦИЯ curves along the upper rim, while the inscriptions БАНК РОССИИ and 25 РУБЛЕЙ appear in two lines below the eagle, followed by the date 2020 г. at the bottom.
