| Obverse description | The left portion bears an ornate vertical cartouche in dark ink with an arabesqued guilloche surround enclosing a double-headed eagle vignette, flanked by the large numeral '25' in the left margin. The field is covered in a light blue interlocking geometric underprint pattern throughout. The main text area carries the Cyrillic treasury obligation inscription in script lettering, with trilingual marginal legends in Russian, French, and English along the side borders, and the date and place of issue at lower right. |
