The Priamur Regional Government was one of several competing White movement administrations operating in the Russian Far East following the Bolshevik revolution. Its currency issues of 1920 circulated in a region already saturated with competing notes — Kolchak rubles, Japanese military scrip, Chinese currency, and various local emergency issues all traded simultaneously, which severely undermined confidence in any single issuer.
Priamur government authority effectively collapsed by late 1922 when Red Army forces took Vladivostok. The overwhelming majority of these notes were rendered worthless almost immediately after issue, and surviving examples in any condition are relatively uncommon given the short and chaotic window of circulation.
