| Beschrijving voorzijde | At center, the State Emblem of the Transdniester Moldavian Republic occupies the field. A circular legend surrounds the emblem, reading above in Cyrillic characters the inscription of the Transdniester Republican Bank, and below the denomination '25 РУБЛЕЙ' (25 Roubles). The year of issue '2019' appears beneath the arms at the bottom of the coin. |

| Aanvullende informatie |
Transdniester — the narrow strip of land between the Dniester River and the Moldovan-Ukrainian border — has operated as an unrecognized breakaway state since 1992, and its central bank has long used novelty coinage as a soft-power curiosity, partly to generate collector revenue in the absence of broader international trade. Baron Munchausen's connection to the region is genuine: Karl Friedrich Hieronymus von Münchhausen served in the Russian Imperial Army during campaigns against the Ottomans in the 1730s and 1740s, and Bendery — now Bender, one of Transdniester's main cities — was among the fortresses where he was stationed.
