| Beschrijving keerzijde | Full-length frontal depiction of the Statue of Liberty set against a deeply mirrored proof field, rendered in high sculptural relief. The figure is shown slightly to the right of centre, wearing a radiate crown and classical draped robes, her right arm raised aloft bearing a flaming torch and her left arm cradling a tablet inscribed with Roman numerals referencing July IV MDCCLXXVI. The stark contrast between the polished field and the frosted devices emphasises the monumental character of the design. No additional legends or inscriptions appear on the reverse. |

| Aanvullende informatie |
The Lady Liberty design used here derives from Augustus Saint-Gaudens' celebrated 1907 high-relief gold eagle commission — one of the most technically demanding coinages ever attempted by the U.S. Mint, requiring up to nine strikes to achieve full relief. The Solomon Islands have issued numerous bullion-adjacent pieces under licensing arrangements that allow non-U.S. issuers to legally reproduce American numismatic iconography.
KM# 437 represents a fractional quarter-ounce issue in this series, with .9999 fineness placing it a step above the .900 standard of the original Saint-Gaudens coinage.
