One of twelve themed 25-cent pieces issued throughout 2000 to mark the millennium, this "Wisdom" quarter was part of a collaborative project in which Canadian children submitted designs for each month. The winning design for this coin came from a young student, making it one of the few circulating Canadian issues of the modern era produced from a child's original artwork.
