Reverse description A left-facing woodland caribou in full stride, its distinctive broad antlers framing the denomination numeral 25 positioned above the animal's back. The word CANADA arcs along the upper left field while the denomination CENTS appears to the lower right. The date appears in the lower field beneath the caribou. The design, engraved by Emanuel Otto Hahn, is adapted from the classic motif introduced on the 25-cent piece in 1937, conveying a sense of naturalistic vitality and Canadian wildlife heritage.
