| Beschrijving keerzijde | The central field, framing the circular perforation, displays the large Arabic numeral ٢٥ to the upper left and the Western numeral 25 to the lower right of the hole, with the Arabic denomination سنتيم arching above the hole. Immediately below the perforation the word ESSAI is inscribed in Latin capitals, followed beneath by CENTIMES. The entire central composition is encircled by a broad band of dense arabesque foliate and floral interlace ornament, executed in the Moorish decorative tradition, filling the annular field to the rim. |
